Soumya Parikh

Hello! I am a third year undergraduate student in Dr. Liza Roger’s lab majoring in Biomedical Engineering at Arizona State University.

I have always been fascinated by the ocean, and that fascination has only grown into a deep passion for understanding and protecting marine ecosystems. I aspire to combine my engineering background with my love for marine science to develop innovative approaches that address the coral bleaching crisis and safeguard marine life.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the Roger Lab and to further strengthen my connection to marine-related research and conservation efforts!
